That is indeed true, champions that are able to stun/relocate camile during initial E cast (pull animation) can easily counter simple engage. With edge of Night in mind Thresh would be the better option out of the two due to possibility to use Q->E if timed correctly and aimed precisely at the location of her hook/target should be able to stop or, if the target is Thresh himself, at least hold her for a bit. E would have to be used second after the Q windup to disable the spellsield. Edge of night is making it WAYYY harder but it is possible. I faced it in D1 EUNE and got away with (barely) it but it is incredibly oppresive pick. Players cannot treat Camile's dmg as the same as other support champions, simply imagine playing against normal Camile, the damage output in early-mid stages is very simmilar and the pick itself does not fall of lategame. *Also note the fact that Camile's E stun is AOE, very simmilar in the way Ashe's R is. AOE is incredibly small but players are if stacked on top of eachother it will still stun both, keep that in mind so you won't end up wasting flash like the Nautilus did 4:27. (I apologize for my bad english ahead of time) Also thank you for another great video! I was thinking what was with that pick during the game but I was not aware of it being something of this Caliber.

The funny thing is Camille top is below average right now. The champ is strong and scales better than before but her lane is atrocious between having a lot of unplayable matchups and the removal of walls. But as support you are often laning against double squishy ranged or 1 squishy ranged 1 low damage tank, and Camille is especially good at beating you down if she's stronger than you, so Camille Support was born. There are also other major factors, like Bloodsong being a great Sheen item while Triforce being weak and DS being removed (and Camille needs a sheen item, it multiplies way too hard with her Q) so purchasing a good Sheen item for 400 gold makes you buy items that you simply couldn't get top like Eclipse and, well, Riot didn't remove walls from bot :D Just one quick tip for everyone that wants to play Camille Support: it's not an easy champion. A friend of mine wich has been sitting between D2 and master the whole season playing champs like Blitz, Pyke and, well, every other mechanically difficult support out there, decided to give Camille a try in a low Emerald game with premade ADC smurfing on Draven. It went horribly, he didn't know what to do on the champ, he'd miss basic Es and not get the proper auto resets on the champ, and he never even tried to do something more fancy like E E Flash or E W E. If you like the champ you need to put some good practice into it.

you're trading mid-late game damage for early damage, which is what Camille support is for. Also getting Eclipse quicker = more kills = more damage.

I was doing this back around the beginning of season 8. Played a bunch of top lane champs as support but really had crazy results with Camille(jump on someone at lvl 2 with e and q), Volibear(all in at lvl 3 with true dmg bite), and Zac (old R when the duo is trying to hit the tower). Shes definitely gonna get nerfed now that this caught on and it's even more op.

Yeah, been preaching this for like a year now. It's amazing what that guy can squeeze out of the champ that is seen as super predictable, one dimensional, volatile and just straight up not having a suited kit for laning. Phase Rush is huge part of him making that champ work by making it more complex and less predictable. Obviously his skill too.

Camille players don't give a shit about sunderer. Trinity always was 10 times more fun. She got ruined by terrain changes. Combination of terrain changes and her having a worst wave clear in toplane not letting her to have the same options as other champs when it comes to wave states and control makes her very weak against players that can manipulate waves properly and abuse the fact that she literally has only one ability at certain wave states that are not hard to achieve because of mentioned Camille's wave clear and her inability to contest it or being tied to slow pushing in order to not troll her lane.@@dinhthochuong7633

there are ways to nerf a certain role while buffing the other. One way is to target which ability a role is maxing first versus the other, in this case Support Camille maxes E while Top Camille maxes Q. Top Camille generally have more Ability Haste (AH) than support due to item paths (3F + Hydra), so mid-nerfing E cooldown (e.g. make it a static 15s cd instead of 16-12s) and buffing Q damage conversion + ratio would probably be the way to quick-fix her. Bloodsong would probably get nerfed to like 125% base ad scaling instead 150%. The actual problem with Top Camille is actually the terrain instead of her numbers tho. Unless they do something to top lane terrain layout, she's not gonna get much stronger.

@@Briezar dude, when marksman-support-role is being popular, the HOB is the problem. The burst from HOB and the range advantages make the situation just unbalanced. Take a look on ashe sup role, from comet to HOB, 110%AS buff. And so on caitlyn, kalista, varus SUP-ROLE by taking HOB. Making the 2v2 in botlane just a marksman - marksman, and you have longer range then you have the ability of controling the bot wave and bot-river. The burst power from HOB is benefiting every ad-damage dealer which makes this SUPPORT role so FUNXDDD

On lvl 1 you can easily get PTA off cuz the enemies are lvl 1 aswell. And lvl 2 you can instantly activate with double Q making lvl 2 insanely dangerous

HOB attacks doesn't reduce when you do AA resets, that's how Camille can attack 5 times in 2s and burst her target (7:55). Most of the damage comes from Camille herself, not the ADC so PTA dmg boost is wasted. You also have to take useless runes from Precision tree and skipping Shield Bash + Bone Plating because you need Treasure Hunter + Sudden Impact. Skipping the true damage conversion from Q2 just to activate PTA is a huge damage loss and shouldn't even be considered an option.

It’s meh, try Annie support though, it’s way stronger than it should be, Build path, Zak, cd boot, Mali, rylias, liandrys, all you need to one shot adc or any other carry is mali. All the others are for supporting, -speed, -Mr, and max health burn. She’s really good at vision control, and pressuring by roaming/camping bush. She doesn’t have a hard counter in bot lane, she does good vs healer/enchanter caz she just wanna survive til 6. She does good vs hooks caz you can just blow out your full combo on enemy adc in one sec and watch them get kill by bear after you died. She can roam effectively with point and click stun. The only downside is she’s not that strong pre6, but once you get 6, you can ignore most disadvantages as long as you hit ult. And after 3 items, you can miss ult and still win caz bear with those items are too strong
