As someone who has live in Cali all life as well as my family, i find it cool to watch how these mini series aproach to the drug problem in Colombia, still, i always find disturbing that people find these narcos as examples of life, they did like really REALLY so much damage to society, that for me is just like idk, we lost many family members and friends for this kind of people

@@guy_in_ashopping_cart-sfs967 I think it’s very rude for you to admit that you love and respect murderers and then ask the commenter about their family. You say “people” will always love and respect bad guys when you really mean you love and respect bad guys. Clearly what you know about “bad guys” comes from movies that hides the true nature of what they do, who they hurt and the communities they destroy. Narco’s are not to be respected or loved. They’re the lowest of the low, preying upon whoever they can.

@@RapidFire175 "Rights to their own body", you said, huh? How about all the drug-derived crimes that violate rights of other innocents? Of course it has something to do with the legality of those substances. Legality status is correlated to users count directly. Drug users statistically have higher probability to commit crimes. That's the issue. Math is more useful than meth, my friend.

No. That cartel was massive and became more powerful than Medellin was in its peak. The Cali cartel was easily worth well over $500 billion. Could have been a trillion; nobody knows the exact numbers. They called them the Cali KGB. They had complete control of Colombia. Having control of the third largest military in the Western Hemisphere is no small feat. On top of that they had connections with the largest paramilitary organizations in the nation.
