Ive actually volunteered at one of Willie's animal rescue & rehabilitation centres in sulawesi. He only employs locals to perform the paying jobs (animal keepers, cleaners, cooks, security guards etc). He strongly believes in supporting the locals & giving them an opportunity for a better future for them, their family & their community

@KafilYamin. Hi, Kafil. Favela (with the long blonde hair) is a local. She's an Indonesian. Her father is from Borneo.

An old Cree Indian Prophecy: Only after the last tree has been cut down, Only after the last fish has been caught, Only after the last river has been poisoned, Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.

Why don't you have locals who do so much good work as Eco Warriors? Face death for them selves and families and take no credit. Such as COP. from Indonesia.

Thanks for the comments and feedback everyone. We're going to invest more in our connection to our presence on KZbin - any and all comments and ALL feedback is welcome. We know the film is going to be controversial and emotional for many but all we ask is that you keep an open mind - listen to what these Dayak communities are trying to tell us about what is happening right now. The orangutans don't have a voice or a vote - they need us all to speak up together for once!
