How I see it is, or experience it rather- In a nutshell, one side governs for everyone to have equal rights, and the other side sees people as being on different societal planes and therefore from their vantage point, that different people should have different rights.

Sorry, I’m not impressed by social media “influencers”, and this young lady is no exception. I hear lots of attitude, but nothing of substance. I see the entertainment value, but where are the solutions and ideas? She has the attention of millions, and seems to be squandering it on ridicule and snark. MLK, Susan B Anthony, and the Federalist Papers authors would be ashamed of the wasted opportunity. Our public discourse needs new voices. Maybe TicToc will produce them somehow. But most of what I see in young opinion-makers is a lot of overconfidence married to a lot of empty-headedness; and that’s not something we should be elevating in our public discourse. While she has every right to an opinion, we should also remember that a KZbin “1 Million Subscribers” award is not the equivalent of a PhD from the Kennedy School of Government. Young people should demand a higher quality of political influences.

We should hold a Republican/ Conservative Amnesty Day - give people a chance to evolve their views, change their minds, and join Democrats/ progressives/ independents/ others in preserving American democracy.
