I am Brazilian, I was born on a farm in the state of Minas Gerais. My great-grandfather already practiced rodeo When I was younger I also practiced rodeo, when I broke my leg I think Brazilians are good because they deal a lot with Nellore cattle, which is a very brave breed

This year there were 6 Americans and 4 Brazilians in the top 10 so I guess it’s getting a little better for Americans. Plus they won the global cup in 2020. Respect for both countries though.

Plus, economic development is measured by GDP per capita and by that measure Brazil is the fourth richest... in South America. Brazil is simply a populous country and that's why its GDP is big.

Particularly from the state of São Paulo (like 80% of PBR Brazilian riders). The countryside of São Paulo State is for Brazil what Texas is for the US. Many rodeos events, cowboy culture, small towns with people having ranches, wearing hats, ridring trucks etc.

There is a LOT more to this then a 3 minute video can explain but I doubt that will ever happen because it would hurt PBR in the pocket book, no company is stupid enough to purposely put a video out that would cause them to lose viewers or dollars. I’ve been a PBR fan probably 25 years and use to talk regularly to one of the original founders/bull riders, there is a level of animosity between the American & Brazilian riders that the riders are not allowed to talk publicly about. Personally I think it would drum up even MORE competition and revenue bucks but that’s why I’m sitting here in my work truck and not a PBR exec! Haha. 🤠 💪🏻
