The River Bank Tiny House Tour | By Build Tiny Katikati, New Zealand

A truly compact tiny house with dual lofts and a dual staircase to match. The stairs float over the kitchen and lounge to a master queen bedroom on one side and office loft on the other. This client’s priorities were focused around her feline friends, with two dedicated letterbox areas, a cat door, and she even plans to use the peg storage board as a kitty playground too. The washing machine is cleverly concealed in the kitchen, utilising a piece of otherwise inaccessible corner space. A cupboard on wheels pulls out to reveal the machine, and there is a section of the bench top above that lifts off to give access to the washing powder drawer, how clever is that! The bathroom is compact yet has all the essentials. The black and white patterned flooring is a bold statement, the client plans to paint the interior herself with more bold an colourful patterns and we can’t wait to see the result in the future!

I am loving the Tinys that this company does and the washing machine storage and access to put the washing detergent in.....magic, I love the layout too. It's kinda standard to see the same layouts repeatedly, I appreciate the design elements and work manship that's gone into this home.

One of my favorites so far ! I have bad knees and a bad back so 2 staircases instead of ladders and a lower level to be able to walk to your bed instead of crawling are perfect ! I only wish there was the same thing on the other loft... (Maybe it would be possible with an L shape kitchen and having the washing machine and storage under the second loft stairs) Great job with the washing machine... as always. I just love everything your team does. I wish you the best. Your Belgian fan ;-)

I don't like the hidden washing machine at all. Would much rather get rid of the pull out part and Put the machine in that spot to have easy access to the machine. Too much hassle every time you want to use it.

Very nice for the size but why hide the washing machine? Why not put it where the pull out table that hides it is? Much more accessible. You can get a washing machine and fridge in black I think.

So glad you exist, and you do a great job. Im older, so need safe environment. Stairs no problem, but sharp edges are. Im sure I'd bang head on corner above couch. Also its a bottleneck to scoot all the way around to the loo, and th corner on that cabinet just waiting to knock me. Generally love what you do!
