On the upstream part, you'll probably want to go back and trim some of the low-lying branches, move a couple of rocks that would make it easier, and make waterproof map copies to guide each party, especially telling them go left or go right at each divide. As I mentioned before, when water is really low or dry, you want to dig some deep holes in your part of the river bed that will give the fish cooler spaces to chill and be safe until your hooks and lures hit the water.

You could also advertise floating photographic tours just after flood events while the river's still high enough for kayaking. Keen nature and wildlife photographers would love a gentle paddle down towards the resort, kayaks, life jackets, and lunch included, of course. To raise a bit of cash towards the ongoing rebuilding and restoration, why not take a kayak along the same course, photograph the best views, and sell the prints, either framed or unframed. Printing your own isn't difficult and once you master the digital photographic software and how it can be paired with Microsoft Publisher for example, you can create a whole range of effects and sizings. I did this for myself to great effect. I quite literally saved over £2,000 by doing it myself.
