3 years ago, a Dr sang this song to my daughter when she was critically ill in the hospital. I tried so hard to remember the song but never could...today, we are back in hospital, and the same Dr is attending to my daughter again. I asked her of the song she started to sing it and then directed me to youtube . Here, i am playing "The River is flowing", to my daughter once again. This song is so special to us...thank you, Dr. Susan. Good health and blessings to everyone reading this.

It is a beautiful piece that u have produced. it shows the nature at its best with beautiful background and a lot more. it depicts life cycle of us humans. a child when born, just as the river takes off from its origin, , when it passes through the mountains in its early stages is as bubbly,. as it enters the plains, it starts maturing and grows wider, just as the humans mature. The river finally merges into the sea just as the humans ultimately meet the God. Very well done. Good luck AMIEN

River is flowing..flowing and growing...So soothing lyrics, so soothing melody, and how well depicted in the video., GREAT Beginning as small streams &water falls, the river begins it's journey from deep into the hills, where water is so clean, cold and pure.Flowing under small bridges, gets joined by other tributaries and keeps growing in size. Flowing over spillways, and getting calmer, keeps on flowing through the plains and ultimately ends journey into sea as sun goes below the horizon.

Ah. .. reminds me of the golden time of my life that I used to wander alone for days in the heights of Himalaya and Hindukush ranges among the trees, high snowy peaks; spraying milky waterfalls, zigzag blue rivers and inking blue lakes and singing wild birds and monkeys and grazing sheep. and much more than is saved for ever in the memory card of my brain

i recollect my school days poem "the brook" a river`s story frm its origin 2 final destination mighty ocean. it qoutes "for men may come or men may go but i go on for ever". population xplosion & pollution has degraded our environment. the rivers & aquatic life has 2 bear the brunt. India has a no of butiful rivers originating frm Himalayas. the global warming is posing a continuous threat 2 the glaciers receding at alarming speed. ur video is a right message in the right direction. thanx.

The Lyrics are actually The River Is Flowing (Mother Carry Me) The river she is flowing Flowing and growing The river she is flowing Down (Back) to the sea. Mother (Moon will) carry me (Her) Child I will always be Mother (Moon will) carry me Down (Back) to the sea.

this song was written by Diana Hildebrand Hull, a midwife & a healer in the late 1970's, adopted & loved by many, & translated into many languages. Diana says although she created it, she 'no longer claims ownership to this song because it belongs to all.'

this song was actually was written by a woman named Diana Hildebrand Hull, a midwife & a healer. Although it is often attributed to Sun Bear, & often called a 'Native American' folk song, I first heard this song about 1979 or 80 in a women's healing circle. It's truth & beauty spread through many groups, including Sun Bear & his 'tribe.' I put 'tribe' in quotations because I do not mean the Chippewa tribe, of which he was indeed born a member. The Chippewa Nation have never claimed this song for their own 'traditional song.' Sun Bear's "Bear Tribe" was more akin to the "Rainbow Tribe," a New Age 'tribe' of seekers who wanted to learn about & follow Native American traditions. Diana Hull beautifully responds that although she created it, she no longer claims ownership to this song because 'it belongs to all
It is beautiful, The lyric is very soothing. Such rivers are very rare to be seen in India, either there is flood during monsoon season or there is only drain water in the rivers Thank you Mukhtar Bhai for creating such beautiful videos and sharing them with us.
