Well Gretchen, you played like a pro. My take on the solo's notation though is that it's not very musical. It has a structure built on positional key boxes, but no real melody. I prefer solos like Vito Brata's solo in the song "Wait" something that isn't just a flurry of notes in a key! Can't wait to meet you in July - hope to learn lots of Zep riffs and that jazz you do so well!

If music is conceived, designed, and played to move one's mind, heart, body, and soul, then I would have to say that Slash is one of the most underrated guitar players of all time. I get chills just THINKING about Double Talkin' Jive and Tijuana Jail. Same goes for Rocky George's How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Smile Today, Roy Z's Tears Of The Dragon, and of course, Alex Skolnick's Return To Serenity. 5 of the most remarkable works of art to have ever graced my life---and I'm a CLASSICAL music lover!!
