Oh my god. This was nearly 8 years ago. York is my favourite city because I’m born from York in early 2000s (2002)

Strange how they don't seem to be able to find the money to stop this from happening year in year out, if I remember rightly it also flooded North of York back up the River Foss up Huntington Rd to Gladstone St, and West to Water End, in fact if you go on Google Earth Jan 2021 Water End is flooded.

And this is before the Foss flood defence update so the river flooded like this a lot and it had been raining for ages
