The Riviera Steers Itself! Let's Fix The Loose Trackbar!

I noticed the rear of the 1965 Buick Riviera was steering the car and made it feel kind of darty, like it had some bump steer from the back. Remember how the bushings on the track bar or panhard bar were all loose and sloppy? I'm going to fix that with some new bushings from Energy Suspension. These were easy to install and totally change the way the car feels! No more changing directions over bumps, it feels more solid now! I'll be working through the rest of the rear end bushings too, watch for that coming soon in the 1965 Buick Riviera restoration!

Another cool content. Thanks man. Are you gonna replace the front bushing with polys as well?

I have already rebuilt the front end with some OE style rubber bushings. I hear rumors of a polyurethane kit out there and have yet to confirm that it fits correct. I do have a complete poly set for the rear suspension. My understanding is that it shares the same bushings as the GM A body in 1965, so the kit calls out 1965 Riviera too. We're gonna find out!

Easy peasy, lemon squeeze. Are you going to rust treat the bottom with something to stop all that rust?

It's slowly getting wire wheeled and painted. The vast majority is just fluffly surface rust. It comes off clean and paints nicely.
