You made it look so easy .I wanna try it on my Rivera

It is easy!!!! Do it. Unbelievable difference. On some car's it doesn't make that much of a difference . On this car, it definitely did. Front disk and factory rear drums rebuilt is plenty of brakes for this cruiser. Subscribe!

Beautiful car! I always wondered how drums were switched over to disc. Good to know!

Those Buick aluminum drum brakes work just as good as a front disc rear drum setup. If you added Muscle Car Brakes ceramic brake shoes you would have even better stopping than the disc/drum setup. I'll post a Iink for the site on my community page if you're interested for future reference for your other car. Yt likes to disappear comments with Iinks or I would of put it here for you.

I agree. Don't really expect much better stopping power . Just upgraded for simplicity. Yeah send it !

Looks like a nice setup. Did you order the kit directly from Willwood? You have more restraint than I do…I would have the whole brake system torn apart and scrambling to get it done on time!! 🥴

No I got it from summit.

I’ve got a 68. I bought a conversion kit from POL and I found out I need to do some modifications to brackets. Any advice or recommendations?
@timelesssteelgarage Жыл бұрын
Not Familiar with the brackets or that kit. Probably just minor clearance. At the end of the day the caliper just needs to be centered on the disc and all hardware needs to have clearance from the disc...Buy yourself a pack of shims and basic tools, grinder wheels drill etc you should be good... Sorry not more helpful but I am not familiar with the POL kit.

Phenomenal. Whole different car. Stops like it weighs 1000lbs less. Stops straight every time. Consistent brakes.

has anyone found a disc kit for the rear
@timelesssteelgarage2 ай бұрын
I haven't bothered looking but honestly it stops great as a cruiser with front disc rear drum.
