Nice to see the flags and the happy old times. Sad to say on one of the flags is Kiely's of Donnybrook and Long's Pub in Donnybrook, Auld grand Boozer's , Dublin in the rear auld time's like late Ronnie Drew sang and said is gone forever.. I had many a pint in both Pubs. Gone Now. Progress ??????????????????????. Culture and History Matter.

I was there. Jack is right about the first 10 minutes. We were on top of them but as always happens in a game, be it football ( soccer ) or rugby or whatever, if you don't make your mark when you're on top you can actually see and feel the momentum slipping towards the other side. ( I was at the Havelock Square End, perfect view ). Goodness me, I'm an Arsenal fan and have seen the very same thing happen too many times - especially with Wenger and Emery - and you know, you just know, there's this creeping certainty you're going to get punished. And we were, that day. We did well to score at least the 1.

Jack Charlton should have been knighted for his Eire escapades. What did Bobby do after retiring, just hung about Old Trafford really. Table for four please: Jack, David Attenborough & Paul McCartney & my ears.. Jack had great football nous, England & Leeds Utd loss sadly as a manager. Great man.
