You have to assume that at Gold level, guessing quickly gets less and less effective. If you guess in 5 seconds, they get 300% more time to look around than you, and they probably already know whatever meta element you picked up on.

@@a.d.chreene3588 it's tough to make it that simple, but if you're gonna rely on something simple and especially something you found in a public forum, you have to assume the high-level opponents got that way because they know them too. It's a low value play. The optimal strategy requires more than just an algorithm though, because sometimes you have to know when you're not going to get good information, and you have to know it before your opponent does.
