Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵, I have also traveled the scenic areas of northern Arizona and was very surprised of what a saw driving through the Salt River Canyon. Such a SPECTACULAR drive as it seemed that I was driving through a smaller version of the Grand Canyon stopping several times through Canyon, it was quite the pleasant surprise. The beautiful drive on the way to Salt River is called the Superstition Mountains. North of the canyon was a beautiful drive also through Sho Low and those juniper and ponderosa pines. I really enjoyed this video, especially seeing the Salt River Canyon again. Great job Robert! I'm looking forward to what's next driving to the east. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!

Howdy Robert, thanks for taking me back to Arizona this morning! I drove through that area 30 years ago and remember a certain turn-out along the Salt River that had a series of great swimming holes kind of like Slide Rock near Sedona. I was sort of hoping you might stop at the Boyce Arboretum on the way to Superior-maybe next time, eh? I had to laugh seeing you playing around with those frozen puddles. See you next week--happy trails!

Great video, Robert!! Been across Salt River Canyon, thru Show Low, Payson, and points east on US 60 numerous times. Your video brought back so many great memories. Many people are surprised that Arizona isn't all like Phoenix/Tucson; they really do have places that get lots of snow and cold weather (Flagstaff, Show Low, Pine Top, Springerville, Alpine, Prescott, etc.). We drove up from Phoenix through Payson one winter headed back to Socorro NM and had to stay overnight in Show Low because they had a foot and half of snow and it was still snowing. That was in March. You got lucky, Robert!

Hey Robert, going north in Arizona in the winter is always going to be cold as heck. If you had continued east from Miami/Globe towards New Mexico, you will find Eastern Arizona is much like the high plane country in America. Eastern Arizona is where you will see miles and miles of corn and cotton fields. It's very flat, and a great ride. You will see a lot of small towns like Safford, and Wilcox, and more. The mountains you will pass are Mount Graham (tallest mountain in Arizona), lots of Indian Reservations, and turn south to the Chiricahua National Monument mountains, (where Geronimo hid out). From there, you can continue east to New Mexico, or turn south to Wilcox, Benson (they have a new cavern they discovered in Benson) and then to Tucson. I spent my teen years working on farms all over this area. Very lonely time working those cotton fields in the fall from 6am to 6pm, but everyday, the world amazed me with the natural world of animals, nature and vegetation. Here's link so you can see some a bit of my creative background. Although, most of my professional background is the corporate world, I never left my love for music and art. You my friend are a perfect example of enjoying nature. and music. imgur.com/user/DannyDoggo/posts

Traveling Robert, my 14-year-old was watching your channel and now I’m addicted. Something about “Driving To The West, into the sunset...” that song is worth a million $ because it’s in my head. Awesome channel. We live in Arizona but we are in Couer d’Alene now. You must come up here for a video.

I live in Pinetop...the best time to be up here is Spring/Summer/Monsoon. The storms are amazing and temperatures are perfect. And it gets so so sooooo green. When you do finally spend some time up here, you should go on the reservations. The White Mountains is known for the most lakes in one area in, I believe, all of the US.

I got to see places through your video lens that I have never seen before, except for Sedona where I went to play golf with friends back in the mid-90s. Wonderful travel log Robert, fun to watch, and thanks for providing information about locations I would like to visit someday. I see you have a new tow vehicle, actually, your little Kia did pretty well for its age and small powerplant. But, I agree that an upgrade was in order and if you decide to get a bigger travel trailer, you are already good. I spent all evening watching your videos, time well spent!

Hey Robert, we were just in Arizona last week on a good old fashioned family vacation. We drove our motorhome from Missouri to. Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, meteor crater, Painted desert and many small stops on the way. So much fun and what an enjoyable time on the road. The Meteor crater RV park was the nicest and cleanest park we stated at. I reccomend it to anyone in that area. Happy Trails Robert! HVAC Zach

Two major fires were burning near Globe this month; living in/near a National Forest can be both wonderful and scary. The drive on 260 into Payson was amazing; the drive down into the Phoenix area is also great. Was planning to retire in Payson but once I got closer to leaving work, the home prices skyrocketed so going to stay in Columbus, Ohio for now; at least we don't have a water shortage or forest fires.
