Already had it wishlisted since it was on steam when you announced it.. but my mind has never been so blown by a devlog, not terraria (remember watching their devlogs?), none of the anticipated games of my childhood had me this hype. I've stopped anticipating so many games and yet you brought that magic back. Glued to this channel. Signed up for Beta Test. If I am not chosen, please whoever is chosen, do your best to make sure this gets the testing it deserves because this is going to be the next huge thing and hopefully release isn't too stressful for the dev. Edit: Also just a funny side note but me and my friend noticed he was really chill and direct and transparent and I appreciated that in this video. Dunno if anyone else noticed that. Cannot wait to sink hundreds and then thousands of hours into this again.

I can't wait for this game, one of the only games I'd buy on early access since Streets of Rogue is arguably my favourite game of all time. I'm really glad that I found Streets of Rogue on Gamejolt back in the day!

Incredibly hyped for SOR2. The idea to upscale the size of the game massively is a brave one and it looks like its paying off. Maintaining the mechanical depth of the first game on such a large scale will be an amazing feat. As some others have said, it could very well be GOTY/Game award worthy. Keep up the hard work!

I admit, when I first heard about the plans for the sequel, I was wondering if the dev was getting a little overambitious, but it looks and sounds like the game is coming along nicely. I’m very excited to play it when it releases, as the first one is already a favorite of mine, and mixing it with a large, dynamic world seems like a recipe for greatness.

Indeed, it seems that SoR 1 was the best foundation he could have made, all the system already interact in really organic ways so expanding it for an open world perspective is more a question of "when" instead of "how"?

You’re killing me bro! 😱 I am truly excited for this game I have not touched my PC for ages, I have like 500hrs in the first one but lately since my anticipation for the sequel it has gotten quite stale and I need something fresh and new and this just hits the spot I am psyched for this, I hope it comes out before Adventure mode for Dwarf Fortress which is a whole game on its own because I need something to fill my time in recovery from an operation, this is too big for me to handle 😍

No rush at all for the release but I’m so excited. My friend and I would replay the first one so often with different character combos to the point that it kind of defined that period of my life the way games like halo or call of duty etc might for others. I’m so excited to be revisiting it with them in this sequel.

My buddy and I play SoR together online so much. Literally hundreds of hours. SoR2 is no joke our most-anticipated game of 2024. I bought Streets of Rogue 1 back in 2017 and it quickly became one of my favorite games. It opened the door to other indie/early-access games where I've found many of my other all time favorites. I can't wait to see what new and exciting ideas you bring into Streets of Rogue 2!

2:00 Dude... There is 100% a market for that. The reason I liked SoR 1 so much, is cuz it felt like a balance of a game with lots of choices, but not as complicated as Space Station 13 or Dark Days Cataclysm. I don't have time to study a game for tens or hundreds of hours, but I would like to play something close to that. And that's what you're delivering! Thanks!

I found streets of rogue on the nintendo switch while looking for a multiplayer game one day. We watched the trailer once and fell in love. I bought it on everything i own even pc so i could have a crack at extra content!! This new game seems like ill have nonstop fun for years..

Surprisingly enough this might be my most anticipated game currently. I didn't play the first one, and only watched a fair amount of Let's Play content of it, as the gameplay premise didn't 100% click with me. However, the sequel seems to keep the stuff I found most intriguing about the first game, and put all of it inside a genre and style of game that is much more up my alley, so I truly am very excited about this one. 🤔

Its only games i deeply respect that get the multiple purchase treatment. (Betheda games, dead cells, risk of rain 2, streets of rogue, grim dawn, supergiant games). Thanks for the log. Didn't play the first but can tell you I will get this game. Very thrilling open world concept. And I don't mind the looks, am used to games like Space Station 13 or Project Zomboid (altho they went through a graphical "improvement"). I absolutely love the first Streets of Rouge. I got all the trophies earlier this year but find myself coming back dropping more time into the game. I love the concept of this new game as it reminds me of old GTA, like GTA 2 but better. I can't wait to see more of the game and I can tell I'll preorder it as well.
