Bb22 showed me I d probably not be great in this game, coz there aint no way I d remember all those alliances and which is allowed to know what. I remember being impressed with Cody on that seaosn mostly coz it kinda showed why he is also great in memory comps, the guy remembered all his convos to distubing details- when he said, what , to whom, how...that is such an undervalued skill. Most players mix up information, dates and with incorrect data come to incorrect conclusions. The fact Cody in 3 months was all on top of all the information, was able to store in in perfect condition and correctly use it at times of need , is probably his strongest skill in the game.

Answers to questions at the end of the vid. 1. Yes I believe Tyler played the better game and years later under the microscope it still holds up. 2. I personally really liked Michies game while more of an aggressive gameplay it worked for him and his endgame was one of the stronger endgames in the shows history. I also think he was unfairly treated at the finale. Got called a racist because someone else said something racist in front of him? Never really made much sense to me. 3. Hot take here on Cody. I think he genuinely might be the best player the game has ever seen. He took everything he already had from 16 and transitioned that over to 22 while learning from his mistakes to be the most well rounded triple threat player in the shows history. Also watching his podcast The Winners Circle he very clearly understands the game on levels that many long time fans of the show still don’t understand. He’s able to break down the game from each players perspective and see what each persons best move is 3-4 moves in advance and he can do it for the entire cast while sitting at home watching on his tv.

@mar2873 Agreed. It is just one of those things that I have never been able to wrap my head around. Sam was bitter towards Tyler (still not really sure why, but I guess similar to Paul in BB19 with Alex and Jason), Rockstar voted for Kaycee because Kaycee was a woman, Bayleigh did not like Tyler (fair considering their fight earlier that season), but Faysal and Scottie's votes truly make no sense to me. Scottie claims it was because of who won the final HoH, which I truly don't believe and think it is very stupid reasoning (it might moreso be bitterness towards Tyler being the HoH to re-evict him, but I haven't been able to find evidence to support that), and Faysal is a dumb*** and I really have no clue what went down there. So yeah, I do believe Tyler should have won 7-2 or at least 6-3, with him always loosing Bayleigh and most likely Rockstar's vote, and in strange occasions, Sam's, but still having more than enough reasons to get the other 6 (especially considering he DID manage to flip Hayleigh at the last moment.) So, who truly knows what happened with this jury??

@@GamerDruddigon I mean not for nothing, she played a solid game, she was just up against Tyler, who played arguably one of the most well-rounded games in the show’s history, and someone who in theory could have won against almost anyone in the house. Kaycee just had slightly better jury management and slightly better social capital! I get why people don’t like that she won, but her win still has merit, as with every other winner of the show!

BB20’s final 2 might be one of my favorite final 2’s in the entire show because it’s such a fascinating situation to dissect. One could argue Tyler should have won the season handily based on how well he played the game from a social and strategic standpoint, but Kaycee’s social game was really slept on all season. She built great relationships with so much of the cast and while her comp wins can be seen as pointless given she never even used the veto, she also used those wins to secure a lot of social capital. Tyler also definitely suffered in the jury management department and you can understand why he didn’t get certain votes because of it. For me, both players were deserving of the win, it just so happened that Tyler was up against strong competition at the end, and even though he clearly should have aimed to take Angela with him to the end, it's hard to say Tyler choked knowing he was in a good spot to win it all regardless! again, such a wild final 2 to analyze!

I feel like Kaycee beating Tyler is how it would've been if the jury actually voted for Cody over Derrick in BB16. I do kind of feel its ironic though. I remember BB17 was my very first season and at the time people discredited Steve's win because "he didn't take Vanessa to the end and it would only be legitimate if he beat the best player." And then we got Josh Martinez and Kaycee doing exactly that in two back to back seasons and people weren't happy. lol For what it's worth, I look at Tyler losing almost similar to Paul which people might double take because Tyler is beloved and didn't really resort to bullying tactics. Tyler played an incredibly cut-throat game and proceeded to not really manage the jury in his favor. And I don't think at any point in the end game that he actually tried to take into account who he actually had the best shot at beating in a Jury vote. If he did, he probably wouldn't have flipped on Brett (who a lot in the jury actually despised). Hell, he even threw that Final 4 veto because he got cold feet and didn't want to eliminate either his number 2 or his showmance. Tyler snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in the end game so I don't really feel bitter that he didn't win despite being the best player because so many of his missteps were unforced errors, bitter jury or no bitter jury.

But cases for 14 - Dan over Ian 15 - Amanda over Andy 17 - Venessa over Steve 18 - Paul over Nicole 19 - Paul over Josh 20 - Tyler over Kacee It was a run of bitter juries not rewarding cut throat BB, which is the best television the show can produce, and certainly the way my favorite winners played from the early seasons (Will, June, Boogie, Dick, Dan)

Tyler played strategically from day 1 and lost to a bitter jury. Kacey was amazing; Tyler was better. Cody's win in all stars surpasses him above Derek. He played well in season 16 and played masterful in all stars. Was he entertaining? Absolutely not, but he had a mission to win, and he won.

You know, Cody’s game feels so frustrating to evaluate because I acknowledge the man did play a strong game from top to bottom. However, many have pointed out that several factors worked in Cody’s favor that would not have allowed a woman or a POC player to have won in those situations, and I am not just saying that because all of the POC players this season were kept out of the committee. The committee being a thing ruined this season, and while I commend Cody for playing such a dominant game, I do believe Cody’s game has more holes than many want to admit! Ignoring the terrible things he and Derrick have said on their podcast, I can understand why some people think Cody benefitted more from being a white male than playing a good strategic game!

I can see the arguement I would respect Cody for that… if not for the biggest controversy that the show never addressed. Where Ian opened up about being on the autism spectrum this season and everybody made fun of him for it and while Danielle, Memphis, Christmas and especially Nicole F faces the brunt of it Cody was also not guilt free where after Ian tried to be a good person and console Cody after his grand father died, Cody and Enzo immediately shit talked Ian after his back was turned and Nicole F said nothing about it. I know it’s been about 4 years and as far I know Cody might have apologized to Ian but as somebody who is on the spectrum I have no tolerance or respect for these players for doing that.
