Great conference, and I agree with most points. I haven't found many others whom agree with me about China and their capabilities compared to the US. If the Western world doesn't implement the correct incentives for healthy internal competition and quickly tackle the copyright/IP issues currently plaguing development, China will lead the revolution purely due to motivation and political ideology.

Competition between nations is healthy, if only because it counters this excessive anti-risk towards tech progress that's plaguing actual times. The world you're dreaming would be a dystopia, tech progress is vital to tackle the many issues we are facing on all fronts, and to diminish suffering of all sorts.
