Don't worry about it selling out. Some of us aren't fans of blueberries and/or light roasts. Still, it never ceases to amaze me regarding the WIDE variety of outstanding coffees coming out of Ethiopia.

Yes.. Ethiopia is KING right now for great coffee.

@@ShouldIDrinkThis I heard it's because coffee genetics are much more varied there since it's native to Ethiopia, thus a much wider variety of coffee tastes can be found there. It makes sense: when coffee was first taken outside of Ethiopia, it would have been such a small amount compared to all the coffee trees that already were in Ethiopia, and all the coffee in the world outside of Ethiopia is descended from this small bottleneck (or maybe multiple bottlenecks, I don't know much about the history of it).

Thanks John! And thanks again for sending it in. Btw I tagged The Roasterie on social media with this review too... nothing LOL. I mean, I don't want anything from them other than maybe a post share, but damn. At least their coffee is excellent.

I notice you use a Cuisinart bean grinder. Is that your favorite? Do you recommend any other coffee bean grinders? Are you considering expanding your reviews to (a) brewing methods and (b) equipment? What about Turkish coffee? Any tips on how to make it well? Thanks!
@ShouldIDrinkThis2 жыл бұрын
The Cuisinart isn't necessarily a "favorite," but it's probably the BEST grinder for how little it costs. Been using mine for a few years now with no issues. As for brewing methods, I USE different brewing methods both on-camera and off camera, but there are so many videos on KZbin already teaching people how to make coffee with these methods that there isn't much point to me also making videos on that.

It's better than the bourbon infused coffee? I'm skeptical.

Yeah that's a hard one. That bourbon infused coffee might have been an 11. LOL

Hate to say this after tasting millions of coffees the only flavors I like in my cup in orange peel, chocolate and nutty. I had a great blueberry Thai coffee. But after a cup its nice and it got put on the shelf to give away. I will have to check it out. Never tried the Roasterie.

Nothing wrong with having your own flavor preferences. Doesn't sound like this one would hit the mark for you.

Sounds intriguing. I'm still afraid though. Do you think it would pair well with Boo Berry?
@mikeb99842 жыл бұрын
What cigar would you pair it with?
@ShouldIDrinkThis2 жыл бұрын
I don't do pairings. Long story short: if you want to appreciate a coffee, don't smoke with it. If you want to appreciate a cigar, don't drink coffee with it. But if it's a cigar and coffee you've already had before and aren't looking to dive into specifically, DO pair almost any cigars with almost any coffee, and you'll enjoy it.
