I can't see how people can't see that everyone would be talking about Austin if that Glass shatters taking away from Cody's moment. Cena made sense for Solo and he has co-signed Cody before. Rock and Cena doesn't outshine Cody either because all of them are tied to the storyline. Austin would literally only be there for The Rock. He has no connection at all to Cody so everything will be shifted to 3:16 and that he helped Cody break the 1,3:16 day reign. It would become about Austin. He is too big of an icon especially next to The Rock as well and their history which is bigger than Cody and Roman. It made sense from a storyline standpoint and it made sense to let Cody have his moment not be overshadowed.
