I am a 300+ pound man and I have achieved an almost full pull up on a bar. Started back in August and went from barely hanging to being able to lift my self to a 90° angle. In the Shira Culpurnia novel Legacy (middle book of the omnibus) - the book is essentially a tangled mess of plots and counterplots as various groups and factions try to get their preferred candidate to succeed a rogue trader, and the reason is that the warrant of trade has one dot of the Emperor's blood on it (I think it was something like the dot over the i in "imperator"). After much nonsense, the warrant gets dumped into the warp, and while every other part of it (and the rogue trader fleet) gets eaten by daemons, the warp reopened by itself, and spat the droplet back out.

Four years ago I was at the lowest point in my life. Had just gotten out of such a toxic relationship I checked myself into a mental hospital for wanting to end myself, moved quite literally halfway across the country to a place where I literally only knew four people, no job, and the only thing I had going for me was a drive to start my life completely over from scratch at 27. Now this year I have married the love of my life that I met here 3 years ago and her three kids, I have my own home, and even am a manager at my workplace. In no way has it been easy and even now it has its challenges but I wouldn't change it for the world. During that time I had also learned about 40K thanks to you two and have completely fallen in love with the lore and always look forward to watching your videos when they come out.

Just a quick side-note, there is another roleplaying corebook for W40K called Dark Heresy, in where you play as a group of Initiates under command of an Inquisitor, basically a bunch of scholars doing errands here and there. I haven't convinced any of my friends to play it yet, but at the very least the manual is a huge source of lore and exposition for the Empire, from the viewpoint of the rabble and the struggle to climb the ranks. The variety of possible character background is pretty good, and even while being not as free to roam as Rogue Traders, players still enjoy a good degree of freedom of choices and consequences

Got accepted into the best law school in the PNW, as a first-gen college graduate I’m getting to blaze a path for my descendants and let them know that they can be more than anyone around them might imagine. That and I lost 50 pounds, finally built some muscle, and am in the second year of a relationship with the love of my life, who supports me endlessly, and we’ve gotten to build a family together while so far from home. This year’s been full of W’s for me, and honestly y’all have been the soundtrack to most of it. Me and my partner joke that we’ve listened to y’all since Koda didn’t know what a Primarch was and Isyandor was in the yellow shirt (they’ve had to slowly develop an interest in 40K too, purely by osmosis, and I’ve finally started building my army (Blood Angels til I bleed baby, gotta love that Catholic guilt)). All that to say, thank y’all for being a solid, consistent set of voices I’ve gotten to listen to during a great part of my life. I imagine I’ll always think of this podcast in the way old dudes think of the Grateful Dead (or the Rocky movies). Here’s to a thousand more years of war and death in 40k, and a hundred more episodes from the guys who explain it best!

I think the Imperial Navy would be the good choice since i know the least among the 4 topic. the thing that i was most proud off this year i lost overall 10 LBS this year. To give context my weight fluctuated over the years. I have been trying to loose weight for about 5 years. The first year i went from 350 to 320 but over the winter i not only regain all of my weight but i added another 30 lbs. Then after the winter i was able to get back to 350 but over the winter i regain once again and then went to 410. The following summer i went back to 380 but over the winter i regain my weight but it did not increase. Then the following summer i went back down to 380. Now this year i did not regain that 30 pounds over the winter but only 10 lbs so i was able to keep off 20 lbs which i call that a win. Then the course of the summer i am now down to 370 lbs. So i had a net weight loss of 10 lbs this year and i am extremely proud of that.

This just makes me think of D&D, specifically, how I run it. I make a world, give the players access to relevant information, and they make their characters as they see fit. Are you Nobility sworn to defend a higher Noble, or perhaps a minor Noble who bought their way in with profit from a successful trade enterprise, perhaps you're a thief, fence, or smuggler, maybe you're a lumberjack, etc. The most important part of character creation in my settings is this: what goal do you hold, that is wildly out of your reach, like a lone lower French Nobility seeking to take all of Europe? As you pursue that goal, you will inevitably step on someone's toes, and from there, I know who your first enemy is, maybe they have resources, maybe they need to build resources to deal with you. It's a very dynamic system, but I have yet to find people who prefer to play this way over a normal campaign with a complete story set up in advance, fleshed out as you go along.

I arrive within an hour of the video being up!? And we've got Eldar as a choice!? Eldar. Harlequins were the event horizon for me. Eldar! (Dark Eldar as a secondary, still Eldar.) Edit: Greatest victory for me if the year? I'd say that it's this channel really pushing me into the black hole that is WH40K. You *got me reading books again.* The ADHD makes that difficult. But because you, Isyander, recommended the Infinite and the Divine as a good starter, I got myself a copy and I finished it in a week. I'm currently working on the Eisenhorn Omnibus and have a chapter and an epilogue in Xenos to go before I continue with book 2. Between your guys' channel and Adeptus Ridiculous, I have found a wonderful new sandbox to play in. My little sister and I both now have a small army of 'nids, I have some miscellaneous Imperium units I'm looking to expand, and my little sister has a particular Comissar that needs a Guard regiment. Once my Wednesday nights are open, I'll be able to start playing outright with familiar faces I didn't even know played the game, as well.

Vote goes for aeldari My biggest win for this year, i would say gaining more confidence in myself and having more self love as a person who sometimes struggles liking my own person, and is sometimes in conflict with a side that hates itself and another side that wants to care for itself Coming from a place that is trying to constantly distract from my own thoughts, because i’d rather stay thoughtless than being in constant conflict in my own mind, fluctuating between hate and confidence and very weird emotional change. I am not perfect, i am quite young, but being able to get out of a habit of constant insulting myself has gotten me to such better state, mainly in social interaction and body health where i feel i can enjoy my own self (at the slight cost of studies taking a toll and not being so good, but i’m working on it). But i am sure that there is never gonna be a time where I won’t be against myself, but i would probably be able to bare myself I am sorry for the big text, but, i wanted to get it a bit out, to whoever that reads this, please take the time to love yourself and look inwards to understand yourself and your problems, it can take time to care for yourself, but getting out of a cycle is the first step, and every step count, even little

I've started hosting painting classes at my local bar. Got drunk with a friend of mine (rest in peace Sully), talked with the bar owner and jumped a week into the future. I'm voting Imperial Knights on this one. It's a shame the UK didn't win this time, we can do it next time lads. My biggest win this year (and some might not call it a win) is that I've finally settled on a direction for the long term. It's been weird going through the motions and being aimless, enough that I felt like I was failing even though things were going well. Next year I can really hit the ground running and achieve things that make me happy.

I started a new job at the lowest position in my workplace in March and 9 months later I am moving into management and respected by all of my coworkers. My biggest win was this year on my 18th birthday I received many lottery tickets from various relatives as is tradition in my family. The first card I received contained three standard scratch-off lottery tickets, all of which were winners. Between the three of them I won $13,050 which I then spent on my very first car. Hi boys. (Please dont make fun of me) My biggest win this year was I actually kissed a girl! Yes, it was consensual. Yes, she was alive. Yes, it was a real girl. But yea! That's a really big thing for me. We didn't wind up working out together, sadly, but I'm glad I had that experience and it was my first relationship, I felt like something was wrong with me or I was too nerdy or awkward that I hadn't had a relationship yet(Im 21). I am also going to the gym again and trying to go back to college at the moment so things are looking up, I feel like Im touching grass a little bit. Glory to the Emporer!

The book I read is awesome, rouge traders are the coolest before the game came out and I still plan to get it when I can afford it. Glad y'all are covering them. My win is that I am still alive for my birthday on Wednesday. I had a particularly dark period of time a couple weeks back where I would consider a weekend good if I was still breathing at the end of it so the fact I am still here is possibly the best win I have this year.
