Some Girls, Exile, Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed, Tattoo You, Beggars Banquet. I mean it’s The Rolling Stones. 👍👍🙏💯

Played the hell out of this album when it came out. this song contribute to my nickname, Muldyr, old English for Mule. A beast of burden that gets no lovin', or not enough. But haven't listened to it in awhile, I think the Stones are on about the 10th or 15th year of their Farewell Tour, and as long as Mick and Keith are alive, They won't gather no moss. Everybody else is replaceable, maybe even Keith, but Mick is a juggernaut, I'm 62, and he's been at it all of my life. Rock On In 24, guys!

My favorite overall RS album as well; that’s saying a lot since they have such a large, great catalog. I really like “Far Away Eyes”.

The only Stones album I ever purchased as a kid. I was 14 when it was released. The whole album was/is very listenable.

Overall, my favorite record by The Rolling Stones. Not a weak song on the record, they even have a delightful country song on this record entitled Far Away Eyes. You kinda get the idea that the Rolling Stones did this song with satirical intentions, but the song is actually quite good. A BANGER RECORD, honorable mentions on this one would have to go to Miss You. Great reaction, TY.

9:30 - Jagger's "singing" is sort of an acquired taste. I did used to hate him when I was young. I thought he sounded like a cross between a cat and a frog. I was into The Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd and, aw shucks, The Alan Parsons Project. And then I discovered Muddy Waters. He was the key for me.

This is ok but for me they were already past their peak at this point. Whereas at their peak they made great albums. At this point, while there were still good songs, it was mixed with watered down, regurgitated blasts from the past. Hate Jagger's gay vocals on this too.

This would be a fantastic album if they would've left Miss You off. I think it's the worst thing the Stones ever did. But the rest of the album is killer, including this. Some Girls the song is one of the best songs they ever made.

☺️@ Miss You because we really love it 😆

@SightAfterDark Yeah, I'm definitely in the minority on this one. They still play the hell out of it on the radio. And I still change the channel or turn it off immediately. It is the epitome of disco and has nothing to do with rock. I can even tolerate their forays in countryesque music, but Miss You, no way. Hate it. Love you guys and totally respect your channel, but if you play it, I'll be absent that evening 🤣.

@@steveschmitz2839 I like the album overall. I think the title track is weak. Fire On The Mountain is one of my favorite Dead songs. The tour for this album was the first time I saw them live.

So, it's NOT "pizza burning"?!!? Jk, jk.😂 yeah, the interplay of the guitars, Mick's emotive spontaneity, Charlie's easy swinging grooves, everything adds up to a/the(?) world's greatest rock'n'roll band. 😊🎉❤
