Iloved the years of 1981 and 1982. I saw my 1st Stones concert in 1981. I was 16yrs old. I remember when I saw them I knew I would always love them forever ♥️ 💕. The Stones are my favorite band hands down. They are 2nd to none. Keep rockin and rolling.

1. Gracias. 2. in the NYT on the Stone's incredible '81 Atlanta show they wonder how arena bands can't afford to make mistakes anymore, and how great it was that the Stones, at least at that time, were still that loose. 3. I sang Happy Birthday to Bill that October in Florida. First Stones show.

I was at the first show ( I believe) to start that tour. It was extremely hot, people passing out. Great show with George Thorogood kicking it off and Journey after him. I do remember people booing after Steve Perry mentioned them being voted the number one band that year. Not sure if he said that again for remainder of tour.

Real stones concerts ( organic) ended with live at Leeds.. And the glittery period began in 1989 and after Wyman left. The Darryl Jones era began and they went deep into glittery and unreachable but with the same old imperfect but perfect stones sound until Watts passed..and the drumming became generic from virtuoso Steve Jordan.. Just my ears....

OMG, my band does shit like this all the time. LOL!! I feel the Stones really (REALLY) tightened up later on.. and now they hardly ever make any mistakes live.

What a mess. They had only one year to record and prepare the tour, plus it was the worse years between Mick and Keith.

Nope, the problems between Mick and Keith didn't start until 1983. That's why the touring was over until 1989. It wasn't until August 1989 that they started a world tour again after their reconciliation after a long break.
