Great soulful song . Think this song was for jade jagger. Lot black n blue was ballads . Lot to do with Bianca jagger I guess . Lot guest musicians. On it. Also was mick Taylor departure . Album. Cover had Ronnie Keith facing off at eachother . Mick in middle . Great record it was . Original cover was replaced caused it showed battered women .

Perfect example of how the stones work and work on a song to try and find the feel and groove. Both musically and lyrically. They have so many unreleased gems just like this with partial lyrics and repetitive groove. Wish they’d release them.

@@williamwalton583 I have heard conflicting stories about it..I've heard that Mick did in fact play the early version and Wayne went on to play the Black and Blue version after Mick left in late December 1974. This version was never released as a single, that's why I believe its Mick playing on this version. But who knows really except the Stones...and Mick, himself. It sounds like him to me.

Going to see them again in June! Being 80 is just a number when it comes to The Stones! I love this version. Yes, please release these unreleased versions, and studio versions of your music.

I’m amused that he has my 63 y.o. brother’s birthday and they both are such busy, handsome, sexy dancers, aside from being great with the income but I think my bro has the better life, not being famous. It’s hard to keep up with a fit and interesting Leo man.
