Great soulful song . Think this song was for jade jagger. Lot black n blue was ballads . Lot to do with Bianca jagger I guess . Lot guest musicians. On it. Also was mick Taylor departure . Album. Cover had Ronnie Keith facing off at eachother . Mick in middle . Great record it was . Original cover was replaced caused it showed battered women .

@@williamwalton583 I have heard conflicting stories about it..I've heard that Mick did in fact play the early version and Wayne went on to play the Black and Blue version after Mick left in late December 1974. This version was never released as a single, that's why I believe its Mick playing on this version. But who knows really except the Stones...and Mick, himself. It sounds like him to me.
