So true. Some people hating the Stones use Charlie to piss on the band. But by doing so they shit on Charlie and his legacy by saying he didn't do what he was suppose to. Almost 60 years he was in that band and he died in the band. Rift-my ass.

The first time this song blew my mind was 1965. Just to compare, I listened to the original again ... and this 2019 rendition ... after a half-century is exactly the same, except for one minor difference, it's a hundred times better. I have no better explanation. Try it, then you'll know what I mean. Only the Rolling Stones can achieve that impossible feat.

Yeah - great to see Jagger supporting Watts. Maybe Charlie was right many years ago - Mick is just his singer. (Stones fans will know what I mean...)😆 One of the tracks that The Stones still performs really great nowadays. And one of the great tracks of their career. Back then it was the follow up to “Satisfaction”, their serious world breakthrough. And instead of doing something similar they did the right thing and came up with this quite different track - thereby staying interesting instead of ending up as another one hit wonder...

Original bass player Bill Wymsn departed in 1992, and hasn’t been back since. Darryl Jones has been the Stones’ touring bass player since then. Thirty years later, Mick and Keith still hasn’t made Darryl a bonafide member.

@bigtip8371 Жыл бұрын
Yes Ronnie is actually playing the part that's on the record but the problem is over the years we've only heard the mono version played on the radio. His part is buried in the mix.(Brian Jones'part). Try listening to it and stereo with headphones and you can hear that guitar part separated better.. I used to feel the same way
