It's so cool that your Grandpa watches your channel! I like that song too. Sorry you've been feeling bad. I hope you feel better. You have a lot of people who care about you, whether it is family, like your Grandpa that you didn't even know was watching you, or your regular subscribers, who like watching your reaction videos, but also care about you as a person. Have a good day! God loves you! And so do a lot of others!

This song has an old soul. Hang on brother. I've heard this song all my life. Find strength in shared emotions/connections/emotions/empathy. 2 truths in life= music math. Both are proven universal

I second the motion...hang on brother. Having also struggled with depression, be careful with the meaning of some songs, some will lift you up, but some can have the opposite effect. Songs that deal with loss or depression can take you either way. Keep moving forward.

This has always been my favorite since a kid. Some of my earliest memories is this song playing as the intro to a tv show about the Vietnam war in the 80’s called Tour of Duty. So once the best picks up I just have images of that show of them running through the jungle and explosions and stuff.

This is not only a musical journey, but also a very personal one, thank you for making us a part of it. Music used to have something for every emotion, you can just choose a melody where you can take refuge for a little while, so to speak. It's awesome that even your family is enjoying your content and also making cool song suggestions, your grandpa is a badass for suggesting this one, you are not strange at all for liking it, this is a huge classic and i'm glad you were introduced to it.

I've had to face up to bouts depression and recurrent exhaustion for most of my life. I hear this song in my head until I crave hearing it and have to play it! Started with the loss of my father, fifty years ago this month. The saying goes, history may not repeat itself, but it sure rhymes alot. 'Ruby Tuesday' is another favourite of mine by the Stones with the lyrics "lose your dreams and you lose your mind. Ain't life unkind?". Very true.

This is one of my favorite Rolling Stones songs. I first heard it when I was 11 or 12 (a few years after it came out) and I didn't understand it but loved the sound. In my ups and downs throughout my teens and 20s this song reflected my mood from time to time. I still love it even though I am an optimistic person. There is something about it that just grabs you. I am glad you like it. Some others have mentioned "As Tears Go By". My husband when I first met him in Jr High learned how to play it on guitar and so it has always given me fond memories and a connection to him when we were apart. James, I am sorry about your nephew. May you find peace in your memories of him.

Man I just found your channel and binge watched over the weekend. It is so great to see someone with so much of same music taste as me appreciate so many different things and discover such amazing songs like this not unlike I did when I was around 18 in the mid 90's discovering everything I was actually sheltered from growing up. Paint it Black is one my all time favorite tracks. I have so much more to comment on the other videos of yours I already watched and will have to go back because at the time I was just enjoying the time travel with you and taking delight in your delight! If there is a way to get in contact with you, it sure would be my honor to share my playlist with you and see what you think!!! Tell me what to do man, there's nothing I'd love more than to do what I could to support your channel because I could share music appreciation all day!!! I'm glad you are doing this. The stones were at their best in the sixties. Pick anything from satisfaction to sympathy for the devil and you won't be disappointed. I watched their first TV appearance on Top of the Pops when I was about 9. My dad was gobsmacked and said "look at those long haired gits , they won't last 5 minutes' Over 50 years later they're still going! I only wish my dad was still here to see them. Miss you like crazy mate.

Good shows... got them all on DVD. Sorry.... veered off course a bit there. Man, music can help give words to feelings, it can sympathize, and it can heal.
