Yes that was john Lennon dancing in the audience. He also did a song with Keith Richards on bass, Eric Clapton on lead guitar, Mitch Mictchell, drummer for Jimi Hendrix and John himself on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. Called themselves The Dirty Mac, played a song called Yer Blues from the Beatles White Album. Check it out sometime great version of it.
