No - a Sony DSC-HX99 pocket camera $450- takes good concert vids and sound.. Asked other youtube concert videographers with great vids what they use and this one was common. Apparently the lens is accidentally optimized for low light concerts especially video (on auto) - but pictures are not great. I have been taking vids for a number of years and while I don't look through the lens (I hold it next to my shoulder sort of) and I don't stay still - I am good at zooming and following... still bounces around alot though since I don't 100% watch thru lens. I used to use a Panasonic Lumix DMC - ZS30 (then 40, 50) and it was really really great but newer models not so much. . Other people use the Sony RX100 for really great photos but takes average vids.. new Iphone Pros are great but you have to be close since limited zoom. iphone is so clear, so steady, good sound it really is amazing.
