I doubt they have the rights to this footage. This has to be from the "Gimme Shelter" outtakes. The Maysles estate may own the rights to it or else the distributor of the film owns it.

This was the song the Stones were playing onstage at Altamonte when Meredith Hunter was killed by the Hells Angels. You can watch it as it happens in the Stones movie Gimme Shelter. One of the spookiest film sequences ever.

As time progressed the live performance became more spectacle than musically, Mick was in full cocaine mode and would rush through singing the songs; Mick Taylor was dominating the band a bit too much by 72 - here he is grooving with Keith and each are trading leads.

Mick Taylor was perfect for the Rolling Stones- The way he looked and his stage presence to the way he played. It seemed like in all those Stones songs Taylor played the perfect part. Musically nothing seemed impossible. I wonder if Jagger would have done differently- song credits, pay etc knowing what he knows now?
