Just to let you know that even though you guys have seen Pamela Chopra (wife of late Yash Chopra) in the documentary series, this was probably the first and last you’ve seen of her, because she passed away a month ago (which was on April 20th 2023) so R.I.P. to Mrs. Chopra 😭🙏🏻💐 she and Yash Chopra sir are forever missed 🥺😔

I'm from South Africa and I was not very familiar with the 😑🤤documentary last week and I felt so inspired I finally told my mom about my dream in acting I never had the courage before and surprisingly she is supporting it and is even giving me advice she even asked if I wanted to join the Indian industry since I like it soo much I even got her Netflix to get her addicted to everyone Indian movie ever😂😂 i have learnt about the Indian cenema society and that you have to be known by someone and stuff,i'm not just hoping for a miracle to happen I'm willing to work hard and pray that maybe I will be the change.🥺🥺 😿😿thanks for the well wishes I will hold on to them

The inspiring part about indian movie industry is that it literally started from scratch with no money and 100s of failures(unlike hollywood which always had money and influence to make big budget films). This industry never had a silver spoon in its hand. Those risk takers and humble beginnings led us to where we are today.

I remember crying madly when Yash Chopra died in 2012. It was so bizarre. Even I was suffering from Dengue at that time and so was he. And it was my life's dream to meet him in my life and I created vision boards and collages of me with Yash Chopra and when I got to know that he died due to dengue while I was also suffering and was slowly getting better, I kind of took it personally. I wish things were different. Yash Chopra really marked a lot of my childhood thoughts and my idea of romance which obviously sucks coz now no one loves like that. Atleast all my romantic experiences made me feel so but I'm just happy I had a childhood full of YRF influences.

This show is excellent to learn about the who's who of the Industry as well. For example, Rani Mukherjee is Aditya Chopra's wife, FYI. Ranveer Singh was launched by Yash Raj, while Dharma (Karan Johar) introduced Alia and others; and Salman and friends, Akshay Kumar etc, are close with Sajid Nadiadwala.

Salim Javed wrote the definite Angry young man movie Deewar for Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor and many more classics. They broke off later and went their separate ways. Salim is Salim Khan, Salman Khan's father. Javed is Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar's father. Still going strong in their separate ways.
