Pure awesomeness. I have loved this song for years and years and it's so good to hear the instrumental track. Thank you for this.

This song is the only Phil Spector produced song to win a Grammy Award. The song contains sound effects of thunder and lightning, which earned audio engineer Larry Levine a Grammy nomination

I just discovered the instrumentals of the Ronettes songs. It creates a good reputation for the greatness of the arrangements.

Wow , Thsi is soooooooooo awesome to hear the backing track , To me it really sounds like one of Brian Wilson's rsessions a few years later . , I mean he used the same musicians as Phil . This is from ans era when you really had to have talent . And listen to Hal Bliaine on the drums . TRULY AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

Knowing how much a fan Brian is of Spector, he would be flattered and appreciative you said this.

Carol Kaye plays bass and guitar here.....Sonny Bono tamborine and shaker, marimba Leon Russell, xylophone and bells in unison was Phil's idea, he also loved the glockenspiel on this song,,,I should know, as a teen I worked with Phil...

That calliope! (Probably a programmed electric organ). The shimmering guitar textures; everything.
