The Roof

Now at the end of our initial trip, inspecting the roof, to understand where the water in flowing in from and damaging the walls and ceilings below. The last few steps, in terms of inspecting the house and repairing what we can before we fly back to the UK and prepare our move to Sicily. Time is short as we hope to move to Sicily towards the end of the year.
Our family have purchased a ruin, located within the Kasbah of Sicily Italy in a town called Mazara del Vallo. An old historic town dating back to before Norman Conquests.

Great that you show more of the house. Roof looks pretty good. If I may make a suggestion; move the phone slowly so the viewers don't get dizzy. The intro (opening several doors) needs a complete overhaul (sorry). The earthquake comment was a bit concerning. Must be quite a change for your family this move. Throughout this video I was thinking how that roof is ideal for solar panels - glad to hear you mention it at the end! With so much sunshine in Sicily and the cost of panels constantly falling, the investment would probably pay for itself in less than five years. Definitely do it if the budget allows
