How we are able to sell everything and move to Sicily, Italy. Is Sicily cheaper than the US? How are we able to stay full time? Where are we getting the money?

Well we have a lot in common! We are putting together an identical plan in North Carolina. My GGF is from Sicily so I'm working on citizenship and also the Visa in case I don't do the citizenship route. Look forward to following along!

How hard was it getting citizenship through your blood line? My GGF was from Sicily, and I would like to do the same. Contact consulate? Maybe a short video explaining your experience.

It's been a long process so far. My case has had some issues. I'm going through Italian Citizenship Assistance. Their website has a questionnaire to see if you qualify. I'll try and get a video of my experience soon. Thanks for folliwing.

Nice video! I have dual citizenship also USA/Italian. My children automatically have Italian citizenship also but they won't give it to my wife automatically. How did your wife get the citizenship?
@theSicilyAdventure9 күн бұрын
She hasn't yet. We are still working on getting mine.
@allborosnyc45449 күн бұрын
@@theSicilyAdventure Thanks for the response. I got mine about 5 years ago through my father. My father became a US citizen after i was born. I'm not sure how your wife will get it. Its not automatic when you get yours, from what i understand.

@@allborosnyc4544 she will have to take the b1 language test. She will be able to stay in Italy since we are married without getting citizenship.

Smart move guys. The quality of life in Italy is vastly superior. We're from Canada and planning the same. Enough getting ripped off in North America.
