I think that despite his outward sternness and military poise, Tim always believed that Lucy would be an excellent cop and top-notch specialist, just as Lucy always believed that Tim deserved more than a job on patrol🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Though I understand why Tim was so strict with the rules in Lucy's training. When you learn it the right way - even when it's the hard way - you'll do it right automatically later, because it's natural to you. This edit perfectly showing Tim could never be objective with her and only played hard to get (alright, at first it was actually "please", not "get", but as her TO he would still have her back, but this wouldn't be that obvious that she was the reason since he would play the annoyance and all, and he would probably say later that it was for himslef what he did to help her). And the "as always" about leaving theor personal lives out of the work... I mean, it had me crying of laughter. P.s. I'm still bitter there was not a single comment like "I'd known all along, even before you did" from anyone (I feel like these exact words would for Lopez's and Nyla's reactions and the meaning would also be relevant with Nolan's and Bailey's)

Tim was a great TO,to Lucy ,he kept her on her toes,with Tim tests. He wasn’t to be an asshole,but to teach her,to be a good cop. John is not a good TO,he is trying to be a buddy to Celina,and she shows no respect , towards him, when he was a rookie ,he was dating Lucy,and his TO,suggested to stop dating,in which he did,and didn’t tell her it wasn’t her business, John was following orders from Grey, I noticed once she was put with Tim,or grey she asked John for advice,John knowing his colleagues won’t like the voodoo zodiac bit.

OMG you are so brilliant I just adore your amazing edits - this is another master piece. The way you matched up the scenes is amazing - you made me so emotional. Tim may have been tough on her but only bc he believed in her & wanted to make sure she would always be safe.
