That QB is not elite though. Many okay QB’s have made the playoffs, even fewer win it all. (Not unless an elite defense bails them out with QB’s like Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer. Baker is solid but he’s not going to take you all the way and I think the Browns realized that.

I hope the Browns have a crap season this year with whoever they find to fill in at QB while Watson (probably) sits out yet another season. Who can they bring in to screw it up? Maybe Jimmy G? Who knows, but they had a good thing going with Baker, I know many don't agree with that but the guy gutted it out, playing hurt for almost all of last season, plus how many coaching changes did he go through in 4 years, too many. He plays with passion, I hope he has a good year with the Panthers that leads to a big contract with another team in 2023.
