Charles James honestly would be that analyst that would beat 80% of the ones on these sports networks today. Great personality, works harder than anyone else, and doesn't make excuses. I know the Texans got him back in 2016 but man, he deserves to be on T.V and on the field more. And as a Titans fan, thanks for letting us hire Vrabel.

Charles James getting cut was pretty hard to watch, but serves as another great example of how brutal the NFL can be in terms of just trying to make a roster. Man did everything right and it literally just came down to a lack of size and bad timing, two things entirely out of his control. That's got to be the worst feeling in the world to know that you did everything to make the team and still got cut in the end because the timing just wasn't there.

I respect the way the head coach treats his players to give them advice, but as far as his coaching skills are concerned he just makes some bad trades snd even worse plays. I always like to look up the guys they cut, most times they end up on a roster somewhere. Kourtnei Brown stood out to me the most though, cut 7 times! But an awesome ending for him is that he made the Bucs roster and got to record 1 tackle. It’s one tackle, sure, but I know that must have meant the world to him, I hope he rides that single tackle in the NFL until the day he dies.

I was the team manager for my high school and I found out one of the players who was on my team got drafted by the Miami Dolphins after college. He was a 7th-round pick and only had 7 tackles but he did more than most of us will ever dream of.

They explained why. He was extremely inconsistent. He'd have one huge highlight play in a game and 3 costly mistakes. That's perfectly fine in High School, even somewhat in college. In the NFL? That's a fast way to get cut from a roster. I feel for the guy but it was a given that he wasn't going to make the team because of his consistency issues.
