Bein from Jersey (South Jersey) I grew up on doowop. I love this music. My mom and dad loved it and I now love it. The music today ( if you can even call it music) is terrible.

I’m from south jersey also. I remember my dad , uncle and his buddies always listening to doo wop and oldies while working on houses. I still listen to this music nowadays.

I know this is an older video...but these guys truly nailed it. I was born in '48 and grew up with rock and roll and these "street corner" type groups produced some of the best-feeling music ever. So innocent compared to now.

This is great! There were tunnels between buildings where I used to work and some coworkers and I would occasionally go down there and do some songs because of the slight reverb we got. Every time we did the guard would stop and listen to us and compliment us on our sound. I miss those days!!

WOW! Absolutely perfect! This is my parents music and I grew up with it as well thanks to records and 8-Tracks lol! I didn’t love it back in the 70’s, but now it’s always in my music shuffle. It is reminds me of my mom who is no longer with us! Love you mom and thank you for introducing me to the wonderful music of the 1950’s!
