My great grandfather was Jewish but they fully assimilated away from the Jewish Faith. I found Judaism in my family tree through Ancestry . I felt I had to seek my ancestry who I REALLY WAS. I HAVE FELT OUT OF PLACE MY WHOLE LIFE.

Thank you for the confirmation of what i have read about converts holding trauma from genetic history of persecution and destruction embedded into them. And it seems that going back in time with the help of a qualified jewish geneologist one can actually know the exact linage of descendants and at the same time know, its time to bring them all back to their rightful place stolen from them, so long ago...but never forgotten by God.

I am a Ger T. and what you say makes very good sense to me. All my life I've had terrible bloody horrific nightmares.. I was always being pursued without a way to escape. Someone wanted to kick my door in and kill me, I was shot in the street, chased through the woods in the dark by a man with a shotgun who had already murdered someone and dismembered and disemboweled them . In the dream I found their intestines piled on a table in a dark shed n the forest while I was being pursued.. There were animals in my dreams too. I was sleeping in a house in the country.I kept hearing movement iunder the house. I went down and the basement was filled with hundreds dead and dying dogs. there were so many --it was a huge slowly moving mass. So many dreams like this. I began to wonder what sort of person I was in my previous life.

I was in a store with my grandson and it had an 1800 picture of an elderly Native man's face. I was drawn into him deeply connecting and began crying. My grandson was with me fortunately and said let's go. I have more to say but I know what you mean. When I stood there looking at that picture all that was in my head was "grandfather grandfather." The man wasn't wearing anything Native on his head.

I totally feel and KNOW I have a Jewish soul in an unkosher body.......trying very HARD to heal so I can move out permanently on my own. Low iron problem and my brain needs loads of healing to function out on my own. Growing closer to HaShem, Blessed Be He , dearly !! I watch stuff on converting all the time...I THINK I was sent to rectify the assimilation of my great grandparents.away from Judaism as they did hale from Latvia. Their name was Neumann but changed it ?? Discovered all this thru ancestry since a child I wanted to learn Hebrew and was drawn to Judaism (( though raised in xianity which I left September 2020.

It is simply a person who was not born as a Jew and does not have Jewish genes, and that person is strongly attracted to Judaism and Jews and cannot understand other religions except Judaism , that person has Jewish soul. HaShem put the Jewish Spark in that gentile from some reason. Mostly such people return to Judaism and the most interesting thing is that since their birth they are strange to other people who are not Jews and they are mostly surrounded by Jewish friends

Another thing I HAVE LIVED WITH PERSECUTION FROM A CHILD IN MY FAMILY……USE TO IT BY NOW 37 years later. What is left of my family is almost dead. My mom DOESNT have years left at almost 71…..father died almost 20 years ago. Younger brother abandoned the family. My family is hugely anti Torah…….NO PEACE AND NO BLESSINGS IN THIS FAMILY…….FEEL CURSED MY WHOLE LIFE.

Contact the closest Orthodox Rabbi near you. He will almost certainly turn you away, but politely persist. Alternatively, you can look up "Convert to Orthodox Judaism" on your favorite search engine to contact a Rabbi online. Welcome home! ♥

Rabbi,please help me understand..I can't digest the interpretation of: Ari, saying that a jewish man having intimacy with his wife and thinking about some non jewish woman could even then send the "spark" to the child of that other woman...what if she is sterile ?or unaware of his wanting of her? , or even more unbelievable, violate the phisical laws of matter, when even the ocean will not leave it's boundaries established by KADOSH BARUH HU..??? Thru nature.??. Unless told to do so?? To be honest THIS interpretation sounds arrogant to me.. I know it's also said that it's figurative language being used to find a logical "explanation" so that the human mind can comprehend, BUT, can figurative language give fact and evidence to the physical???? you can convert....find a rabbi( orthodox) who does conversions.and start your journey...it is your destiny, if you are already thinking to want to convert,,do it.

You don't need "Jewish genes." Some Ashkenazi Jews do have genetic connections; others do not. Sephardic ancestry is too open and diverse to have specific Jewish genetic connection. Welcome home!
