Thank you for such a detailed walkthrough! I adore Sharon Blackie's work. I read If Women Rose Rooted in 2017 and it changed my life. The book is similar to Women Who Run with the Wolves with a Celtic slant. I also loved her Foxfire, Wolfskin, and Other Tales of Shapeshifting Women. I attended a workshop with Sharon back in 2019, and she is as amazing in person as her writing. And I love Hannah Willow's artwork! I have a couple of pieces of her art and her oracle deck. I think using her oracle deck in combination with Sharon's would be quite beneficial.

Loved this walkthrough. I've been meaning to read Sharon Blackie's book, but this deck is definitely in my wheelhouse as I work with ancestral energies. It's beautiful!

I know, I completely agree, I think this will be really great with ancestral work!

I really like this oracle, I haven’t read Sharon’s book but it’s on my list to read. Wonderful walkthrough, as always! :)

I love Hannah Willows art and have bought many of her greeting cards, so when I saw on her site that she was collaborating on this oracle , I preordered it immediately. I absolutely love the deck..and hadn’t made the connection with ‘ if women rose rooted’ which I had bought a while ago but not yet read. I’ve dug it out to actually read it now! Thanks for review.

Kelly!! I’m so glad to see you’ve done a review on this. I’ve been curious about this deck for a while and you’re the exact person whose thoughts on it I’d love to hear. Just got through the Imbolc review and I’m already excited to plunge into this one!!!

I looove the overall topic of the journey that this deck has and also the structure it has given to that. So good. I think that this could work really well with the Witches Wisdom Tarot artworkwise but also with both of them being naturebased in a way and journeyfocused, at least they both feel like that for me.

Kelly thank you I'm going to get this for sure. Love the Brigadoon card 💞. and the beautiful in between worlds. Always brings a smile my way hearing you sing. Heathcliff that name reminds me of a old black and white movie my sister read the book oh it'll sail through my brain in the wee all hours. Oh yessss Withering Heights lol now back to this great video.

I don't like the art work and I hated Sharon Blakie's book If Women Rose Rooted. Not a deck for me I think lol. Thanks for the review though. I love your channel!!
@TheTruthinStory8 ай бұрын
I have not read the book, but I will definitely check it out. Art is such a subjective thing, writing and visuals, it is ever interesting how things can really hit people differently! Thankfully there are many decks these days for us to find what does work for each of us!

I haven’t read but curious to hear why you hated it?

Hi It's a really popular book - it just rubbed me up the wrong way I think. It's very - oh, I realised I was unhappy, so I sold my house and bought a cottage in the middle of nowwhere, how radical of me, and now I'm going to write a book so you can all do the same. I got the audiobook and the voice also totally irritated me lol. In general, I'm really keen on any shade or flavour of women's empowerment, but her book just seemed spoilt and patronising to me. My friend, who is very wealthy, unlike me, had a similar response, so maybe not just my grumpy bitterness at not conveniently having a house in central London to fund my soul searching!@@M155ABYSS
