People can reason out anything and feelings of something being the case are not always the case. There are different paths that represent different degrees of truth and good. An investigation into reality shows that this is the case with systems and individuals. There is no real reason not to connect without denying ourselves.

Oneness is just the beginning of enlightenment. It is not the hight of human consciousness. The hight of human consciousness is found through the living Christ that can lift a man up to the “third heaven” and bring one before the all powerful Godhead. Jesus is the door and repentance is the path. Peter knows nothing about these things. This oneness state is the goal of all natural religions. Christianity is a Divine Revelation sent from God the Father. The Creator. If you don’t realize there is a divine Godhead then you know nothing.
