Great interview with Daniel Kottke Apples first paid employee, I learned many things from this interview. My father Tony Medeiros also worked at Atari as a QA Manager from 1974 - 1986, and was invited to parties at Nolan Bushnell's house in Woodside California that was previously owned by the Folgers from Folgers Coffee.

This is almost watching the Quarrymen in the early days of the Beatles. More success for you Daniel.

A perspective I hadn’t come across before especially eichler house. Looking at pictures in bing I see the inspiration for apple stores. Lots of glass and minimalistic.

Interviewer did not allow the guest to talk.. so much interruption.. even if you know most of story already, I would want to hear from the man himself...

Being a manual labourer at the beginning of something special gives you stories to recite, but it doesn’t entitle you to corporate stock once Jobs had led the company to an IPO. This is not harsh, it’s reality.

Poor Danny, having to listen to another fan-person who wants their Apple fantasies to be true. She seemed annoyed when Danny gave his first person perspective and it wasn't quite magical enough for her. 🙄
