Thank you for this story little did you I needed this pep talk today more then ever. I am and have been a student of yours for a few years now... not by taking your courses but by just listening. I've been a student of astrology and other esoteric means through my 1931 model mother who always taught me to respect the earth and many other things.... I'm a 1969 model ♉♌♍. And I still to this day learn something new everyday. Thank you for lettinf me into your style of teaching ASTROLOGY. I appreciate that much. I've had many teachers all my life and I've taught many others. My astrology is through art and MUSIC and ENERGIES of numerology. But we all connect in one way or another. I found this web cast very interesting and highly informative. It's a great way to show others how the planets work with our seasons and or lives. I happen to have a rose tattoo over my heart that I got when I was 29... 1st Saturn return in remembrance of a FRIEND that I had and we always said we get this tattoo when we turn 18. She passed b4 we could. But I waited to get it until the time was right for me. Very Saturn like. The picture of the rose I picked at the parlor... I had the lady cut it back to a bud with just a few leaves and had her add a thorn and a blood drop from that thorn. We always have to have balance between it all. Blood and Roses by the Smithereens... was our child hood song but as an adult I always sang the Rose by Bette Midler. Which this pep talk today hits home. Thank you again and I appreciate you more then you know.

What an awesome way to describe astrology! The cycles of life orchestrated by nature and all elements in our universe. We can choose to live in harmony with these cycles or go against them, or try to dominate them. We have a choice. While listening to your beautiful rendition of astrology, I kept thinking of Neil deGrasse Tyson, the astronomer who chose to slam astrology and what a beautiful way to answer to his blunder, to show him what astrology is, and to ask him to apply his research methods to astrology- that is, instead of slamming the field, make an educated comment about astrology, not an opinionated and debased comment on something he clearly knows nothing about. I apologize for the rant, but like Mr Tyson there are many people out in the world who love to criticize and dismiss astrology without reading or learning anything about it. Your poem, Steve, is the best explanation of the power of astrology I’ve heard in my 63 years of life. Thank you so much for sharing your gracious and generous talent and art.
