The Rose Tree "Απάνω στην Τριανταφυλλιά" by Marlia project

This is the official recording and video for the Greek folk song "Απάνω στην Τριανταφυλλιά" (or "The Rose Tree" a folk song from Macedonia, Northern Greece) rearranged by Marlia project for a string ensemble, handpan, santur, percussion & voice 🎙️
While residing in Bali in January 2022, Marlia Coeur turned the 'Greek Folk songs project' from a big dream into reality. This is the first release of this project.
Three rearranged Greek folk songs were recorded at Antida studios in Denpasar, Bali, with the innovative spirit, the talent, the ingenuity, and the support of Bali-based Sundaram orchestra
(Jessica Virginia/Flute,
Wilo/Cello,
Pison Yizriel Harry/Double bass,
Ricky Irawan Rasyid/Viola,
Kadek Naranatha/Violin)
and also multi-instrumentalist Anello Capuano on Santur/Darbuka/Daf/Riq,
Zhenya Topov on frame drums
and Marlia herself on handpan and vocals.
