I am not always a fan of webbing for straps, they don't usually match. But yours is perfect. So very cute.

Great video! What is that object on your sewing machine that is making sure your seam allowance measurement is correct as u sew?

Love the tutorial. What made you decide to do the d ring connectors the way you did? Does it not risk structural deficiency after awhile? If not, then your way is a time saver.

Both ways are great! Just find this way faster :)

When cutting out the pieces and tape them together for the pattern is the slip pocket a little off? It says it should measure 12” H x 6.5” w but I got 11.5” H x 6 1/4” w. Is that ok? Or should I cut the slip pocket 12” x 6.5”?

Or should I cut all the pieces by the pattern pieces?

I think my pieces were good .. but if it is a bit smaller it will be ok. It will just be a smaller pocket

I am TERRIBLE at binding and really wanted to see your method. I've got to learn a good way to do this as alot of the patterns I make are binded 🙂. Would you let me know the width of the canvas that you cut and if you fold it over & sew or is it better to do one side at a time for a better finishing look? Like Shannon's original video.

To keep my videos at a good length; methods that are repeated in most bags, I have a playlist of mini classes for those things :) when I have a video I have a sign pop up in the video as to where to find that playlist . Here is the link to that playlist. Hope that helps! kzbin.info/aero/PLC0SW27QQ9ULjqRJWumGya5BK_vf9NLDi&si=6bWaq4ZbR2PnaIuQ

@rhondahunt2456 my pleasure! I have on my list to make a mini tutorial for WPC binding and a new way of doing bias tape too. The new way of doing bias tape is in my Georgie tutorial by KiteCoCreations that I posted last week :) it’s a great method too
