I’m laughing so hard at your story!! I love your channel! Thanks for taking us along on your beautiful hikes.

Right on. I've been at this for a long time before my channel started a few years ago so the stories of madness in the mountains have piled up! Many of them come out eventually. I tell stories in a few of my hiking clips on that playlist but I can't remember which ones exactly. Thanks for tuning in. A lot more to come. At least that's the plan!

Beautiful hike. Short but steep. I watched the fishing vids, awesome brookies. Thanks for taking us along.

The hike was harsh but short. A viewer tipped me in on the comment section that the large pond and streams in the meadow below was Grass Lake so a trail takes you right there. Now I have to go!

Even though that was only 2 miles it looked like a rough hike. The back country it so beautiful. Thanks for the video

It was brutally steep nearly the whole way but it was short. We've all probably been on longer hikes where uphill stretches like this seem to come wave after wave.

Lamarck was my first backpacking trip in the eastern Sierra 40+ years ago. That little lake you were looking at was Grass Lake. We spent a night there after starting our hike late.
@wildernesswithamani10273 жыл бұрын
So that's Grass Lake! Alright, good intel. I'm going to get out there now that I know that trail gets me there. I was looking at a cross country route that didn't look too fun from a lower section of the trail on the way out. Thank you!

Lmao, sippin water like a carp. We used to drink right out of the streams too. Didnt even take a canteen. Just lay down and sip right out of the stream.

I don't know. I'm not a technical guy when it comes to cameras and computers. I just use my Gopro because I know how to use it! Well, at least I know how to record and that's literally all! Stuff like low light settings or zoom, no idea! Maybe I'll look into it. Thanks for watching.

If you ever had beaver fever you won’t drink out of a lake or stream. I learned the hard way back in College. Sick for 10 days lost 15 lbs.

That sounds horrible. I saw my friend get giardia the first time we went on a group trip in the late 80's. He did not do well at all. It was an ugly thing to see.

That channel looked relatively new. Perhaps someone know that area. I have to get down to the Eastern Sierra and experience some of those amazing views.

That sounds awesome. A week is a lot of time to soak it all in and enjoy everything. Sounds like you covered a lot of territory. I only got a glimpse of what you experienced in the 7 or so hours up there but it was good.
