Never going to ton up though! Bit short and lacks variations. A chrome tank version with a more sporty exhaust option would be good. Not designed for a 6 foot plus rider either. I prefer the clubman.

Still need a more power (10-15),dual exhaust,black variant!,then ONLY i would book this!

Britain left dual exhausts behind in the '40s. They are slower. If you mean 4 valve well it doesn't need that to make power, just British tuning know how. No surprise that the 650 was designed completely in Britain. There is advanced motorcycle know how in India, just not at Royal Enfield.

Please, please, please make a 750 or 1000 twin. A cafe racer which doesn't do a ton is very disappointing :(

- It does, just put a K&N filter and a power commander and you get 20% bump in power, plus tinker around a bit by trying to lose some weight and you will have a bike that does the 'Ton' easily

British frame design.British based design company and pathetic power from the Indian input. They could have fixed that but didn't have the understanding. That's why the twin was entirely designed in Britain And the quality of the wiring isn't the best either, nor the quality control overall. I think that's why the twin's roll out was set back. They had to instil much higher standards in the Indian management, and right through the parts suppliers And before anyone replies, I've got one, with the Hitchcocks tuning kit and I love it, even though the suspension is bargain basement.

A very handsome motorcycle.. really good looking. And surely just what the modern Cafe' market wants.. not everyone in the current scene is an ace bike builder after all. Except.. the berluddy thing is gutless.! Just another Enfield dodderer. A Travesty of the Cafe RACER ethos.! A tragedy.. WF
