I love Wes Anderson movies but this one didnt appeal as much to me probably because I didnt like the Royal character. He lied to get everything he wanted and i think the most compelling Wes Anderson characters are the ones who lie to THEMSELVES more than anyone else

Honestly, it’s fine if you don’t like Wes Anderson, his movies aren’t for everyone. But everything about this comment leads me to believe you’re a pretentious man child. Boring is completely subjective, and on a completely objective note, Wes Anderson’s movie are much more high energy than Lindsay Anderson’s. The majority of people would probably find Lindsay Anderson’s movies more boring than Wes’. Not to mention, “useless”? Almost every director on the face of the earth is useless by that standard. His movies are for entertainment. That’s what most movies are made for. And he makes them in a much more professional and articulate way than most other filmmakers. Not to mention I think providing quality entertainment to people across the world is quite the useful thing indeed. Honestly, I don’t even know why I’m responding to this. I expect nothing but an overly aggressive and immature response from you, simply because I have a different opinion than you. Want to talk about useless? Please, if you do respond to this comment, tell me. What function does your angry little comment serve?
