Very beautiful wedding. I watched some parts of the wedding, and I can sense the warmth and happiness at the event. So far, I have never heard anything negative about the Jordanian royal family because the family has a history for being humble and kind to humanity. May God bless this royal family, and I hope the bride and groom will continue passing on goodness to their their children and so forth.

Wow! The Foreign Language Institute would be proud of you!😊 I thought Rawja's dress was superb! She was beautiful. What a power house of a family now. Queen Rania is from Kuwait and a former Palestinian and now Rawja is a second cousin of the King of Saudia Arabia (Her mother is a cousin of the King). Jordan is now a big player at the table. Did you notice that Queen Mathilde and Princess Beatrice wore the same dress? Mathilde to the ceremony and Beatrice to the reception party. You would think the design house would have made a note in their customer service files (trust me, the design house documents every haute coulture designed dress- the who, what, and where) that there were two royals wearing the same design to the same event. Shame on the design house-huge fashion faux paus. Especially at the price for haute coulture! Good job with the video. You researched a bit for this because you had video footage that I had not seen before. ........that's why I like your channel!

That wasn't Queen Mathilde who wore the same outfit with Princess Beatrice (as Queen Mathilde of the Belgians, wasn't in attendance), that was actually Princess Aisha Al Hussein of Jordan, the groom's aunt and the King's sister.😊

@@johnsonrhythm3166 Yes. Thank you for the correction. That still does not change that fact that two people wore the same haute couture dress to the event. The design house should have caught this in their customer service data base. These women pay a fortune for exclusivity to wear one of a kind designs.

The dress that Katherine wore to the wedding ceremony took my breath away! It was possibly the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen. The texture, pattern and intricacies of the dress were just so elegant. The dress she wore to the banquet was beautiful too but possibly just another blingy dress but the wedding one was a work of art. Of course, as we all know (and envy) Kate could wear a burlap bag and look good! Thanks for this special Alexandra. Beautiful wedding. I just loved Rajwa's banquet dress also, she really looked like a fairy princess in it just like a fairy tale Princess! She will be as classy a Queen as Rania.

Superbly done! I agree, it was a very beautiful wedding ceremony, loved the dress, the bride, the guests, loved everything. How small is the royal world as the Spaniard, Miriam who was married to Simeon of Bulgaria, the heir to the throne of Bulgaria who died in a car accident now is an HRH in Jordan after marrying a Jordanian prince. I'd like to know where and how they met, maybe I can get some ideas. LOL!

Good Morning. As awlays a well planned and well executed summary of this beautiful and momentous event. I watched the wedding from the beginning - the Jordanian coverage -- altho no subtitles etc., that was OK. it was well done - well planned -- I also appreciated the focus on the grooms family during the ceremony -- the King was first and formost, a Dad .... so warm and wonderful to see his humanity and his pride in his son. Later broadcasts with the talking heads was a nice review -- finally I just muted the 'narratives'. I did not appreciate the 'cuts' on some of the guests' attires .. but, I consider the source...... You are first and foremost a talented and gracious professional and this day's summary supported that .... take care.

The wedding ceremony was very beautiful and the guests were elegantly dressed. Bride and groom made a very elegant pair, showing great joy , and an elegant posture, at their wedding ceremony. The bride looked beautiful , and the originality of the dress should be highlighted , very embellished with a wonderful , and long , embroidered veil . As always , Queen Rania was magnificent , elegantly dressed , and with a friendly and charming posture when receiving her guests. Princess Beatrice of U.K, was really very elegant with her dress made of a silver fabric, and with a black fabric belt cinching the waist of her long, flowing dress. The arrangement of her hair with a black bow also combined very well with her look. It was noted that Princess Beatrice must have felt very good in that dress that she wore to the Wedding Ceremony of the Crown Princes of Jordan. And, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, and his wife, Crown Prince Mary of Denmark, were also a couple that presented themselves very elegantly. Crown Princess Mary proves that her behavior is very consistent with the ideas she defends in terms of Environmental Protection and Saving Resources of our Planet , as she appeared dressed in a dress that she had already worn, but which she recycled, adding a beautiful embroidered silk fabric. , which fitted wonderfully into her dress . Very well thought.

I understand apart from knowing the Jordanian family well; Princess Beatrice was in attendance as one of King Charles III Counsellors of State alongside the Prince of Wales.I love Crown Prince Hussein Grandmother Princess Muna Al Hussein, although living in Jordan for over 60 years there is xtill that quintessential Englishnes about her.

@TheRoyalCorrespondent
@TheRoyalCorrespondent Жыл бұрын
Hi Spirit! I hope all is well with you. 🙂 Unfortunately, royal watchers will not see Her Majesty Emerita Queen Noor of Jordan at any royal events with the family nor will we see her son Hamazh. Tensions within the family began before the passing of the late great King Hussein of Jordan in 1999. Long story short: Prior to The King's passing he named his son, Prince Abdullah, as heir to the Jordanian throne. Many thought it would be Prince Hassan bin Talal of Jordan (who at the time was Crown Prince). When King Hussein was undergoing Cancer treatment in Rochester, New York he named Prince Abdullah as heir which allegedly upset Queen Noor. She -- allegedly -- firmly believed it should have been her son, Hamazh. Since then the relationship between Emerita Queen Noor and Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania along with the rest of the family have been rocky. Then in 2021, Hamzah along with several Jordanian government and military officials plotted a Coup to overthrow the monarchy. It failed. Since then, Hamzah has been under house arrest. Queen Noor supported her son during and after. Emerita Queen Noor's other children, Prince Hashim bin Hussein of Jordan and Princess Raiyah bin Hussein of Jordan did attend the wedding and are close with Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania as well as with the rest of the royal family.

@TheRoyalCorrespondent
@TheRoyalCorrespondent Жыл бұрын
Hi Donna! Sorry for the late reply. My goodness, where do I start... Months before the death of the late King Hussein of Jordan on February 7th he hadn't named his heir. At the time, it was Prince Hassan bin Talal of Jordan (The King's brother) who was essentially the "unofficial" Crown Prince of Jordan. Meaning, many in the Kingdom believed Prince Hassan would become King after the death of King Hussein. Meanwhile, Prince Abdullah bin Hussein of Jordan's career within the military was really taking off. Eventually, he and the family moved to Northern California where the Prince along with other members of the Jordan Armed Forces trained. During this time, King Hussein of Jordan was undergoing Cancer treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. One day he asked Prince Abdullah to met with him. So he did. During their meeting, King Hussein told Prince Abdullah that he chose him to be his heir...the next Hashemite King of Jordan. At first, Prince Abdullah told him that he didn't want the "job" and that he was happy furthering his career within the JAF. King Hussein told the Prince "...that is why I chose you. You never sought to be King." In other word, King Hussein knew he wasn't greedy and cares for the people of Jordan. Meanwhile, tensions continued between a then Queen Noor and the rest of the family. According to my sources in Amman and my Jordanian friends, a majority of the family were not particularly fond of Queen Noor. It's been that way for years...allegedly. Prior to the death of King Hussein, Queen Noor was pushing for their son -- then known as Prince Hamazah -- to be heir to the throne. When King Hussein chose Prince Abdullah allegedly Queen Noor was incredibly upset and never supported him. After the passing of King Hussein we saw less and less of Queen Noor at official and private events. Cut to 2021: Prince Hamazah along with several Jordanian government and military officials were arrested and tried in court for plotting a Coup. Their goal was to oust King Abdullah II of Jordan and place Prince Hamazah on the throne then strict rules would be set in place within the Kingdom thereafter. Also, I can confirm through friends of mine who live in Jordan, that there were a handful of Jordanians (mainly Bedouins) who supported Hamzah's plan. Queen Noor wasn't exactly silent about Hamzah's attempted Coup. She supported and still supports him. Today, Prince Hamazah -- who renounced his title in 2022 -- is under house arrest along with his second wife and children. There is a lot more to the saga... perhaps one day I'll do a special episode about it. By the way, I hope my response made sense...🙂
