I remember this day so well. We were all given the day off work so that we could watch it. There was a family who lived across the road to us who did not have a telly so all five kids trooped into our living room to watch the wedding. It was a truly fairytale wedding. Nobody had a clue then as to what the future would bring.

F'er MaGee Being horrible about Camilla is so unjust and unfair. Charles and Camilla's chemistry just worked/works. Charles and Diana's didn't. The upper classes/aristocracy do play a different ball game to the rest of us. They do have an idea of what is expected. Diana wouldn't have entered into this blind. She had good foresight, she would have had an inkling of what to expect. She said in an interview, how she thought she would be marrying 'for love'. Mm, I don't doubt this but the upper classes do tend to marry for status/money/power etc. It's a totally different ball game to us mere 'underlings'!
