It feels a bit rough, but I think they nailed the core concept. I barely manage to survive against 1 AI, but it's fun nonetheless.

I hope so too! I found an update about the scouring: "We are going on RTS fest(20 January) with multiplayer demo Next fest on summer, which we are going, will be full of surprises!"

The AI assistant reminds me of rise of nations.

The fighting and model interaction looks more "visceral" in this game than Warcraft II. Like it is more of a fight.

Yeee--- it this gains any ground, I can see Blizzard filing some lawsuits. This is literally WC2 in 3d. It's a total ripoff. Amazing. But it looks great! If only Blizzard had this kind of skill in their teams still. Hopefully they do well, because I'd love to see a reimagined WC2 in 3D.
